It occurs to me that let's say with the Pirates/DBacks picks trade that one of them decided to NOT pre-pay their league fees for next season, that the deal would have to be canceled by me. And really, the same can be said for a selling trade. My suggestion is if that happens the team that didn't pay (or post), thus nullifying their deal, should be penalized in some way. My idea is simply that they cannot deal the players or picks in any deal again for at least 30 days. That would prevent a situation where say the DBacks didn't want to prepay because a different team whom they felt wasn't as good as the Pirates offered him the same deal. Would apply to pick deals without prepayment made or selling deals without posting done. A 30-day moratorium to prevent teams from nixing deals because a better one got offered after the fact.
(obv not meaning to pick on DBacks here, they did no such thing ha)
